Flags Remain Lowered

Flags at all Waterloo Catholic District School Board schools and administrative sites have been flying at half-mast since May 31st, as a sign of respect for the 215 children and youth whose graves were recently discovered on the grounds of a former residential school in British Columbia.

To mark the tragic anti Muslim murders this week in London, Ontario, and to stand in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters, all WCDSB flags will remain at half mast until the end of school day on June 11.

As a Catholic community we pray for the victims of this senseless act and join as one to condemn racism, bigotry and hate, in all its forms anywhere.

Transition Survey for September 2021 LAST DAY IS JUNE 3RD

Dear St. Margaret Families,

Please see the link below from Director Notten regarding the following:

  • learning choice for next year (face to face or virtual)
  • vaccination

ALL parents/guardians who want on-line learning for next year MUST complete the survey – even if it was completed it in March.  The survey will be open for four days – May 31st through June 3rd.  If a survey is not completed, we will assume your family wants in person learning for your child(ren).

Pandemic Update to WCDSB Parents May 26 21

Flags at St. Margaret

-Today we raised the Pride flag on the second pole. It will remain for the month of June.

-Both flags will remain at half-mast to honour the 215 children who perished at the residential school for Indigenous children in BC. We stand in grief and sorrow with members of our First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities and with all Canadians.

-Remember this Friday June 4th is a P.D. day. No school for students!
