Athletics:

*Folk Dancers presented to the school May 7^th and the Cambridge community at 7 p.m. at Galt Arena Gardens

*Grades 4 – 8 have been training for Track and Field. Our event will be held at St. Benedict           Wednesday May 15^th.

*Intermediate Soccer May 23rd at Riverside Park

*Grades 4 – 8 have been training for Cross Country. The meet is June 4^th at Shades Mill

*June 11^th Regional Track Meet at Resurrection

*June 17^th Coed Intermediate Ultimate Frisbee

*June 18^th Junior Boys’ and Girls’ 3-Pitch

Catholic Education and Mental Health Week was May 6^th – 10^th.

Catholic School Council’s next meeting is Wednesday May 15^th, at 6:15 p.m.

Thank you for attending our STEAM night. We appreciate all the volunteers that helped make it          happen!

BINGO dates needing volunteers are Sunday May 26^th, and Tuesday June 4^th. Contact the School Office if you can volunteer 2 hours!

Dental Screening for our JK and Grade 2 students is Wednesday June 5^th.

*May Crowning of Mary was May 9^th

*Year End Mass is Monday June 17^th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.

*Food Drive for St. Vincent DePaul May 21^st to June 10^th.

Grade 7 and 8 to Tree Top Trekking May 21^st.

Grade 8 Graduation will be Tuesday June 25^th at the school.

Hot lunches are organized by our Catholic School Council. New vendors are being added, so keep watching for changes. Orders are found on School Cash Online. Orders need to be in the previous Sunday by 12:00 p.m. Please check weekly to confirm your order. Remember pizza vendors alternate!

Kindergarten ‘meet the teacher’ welcome evening is Thursday May 30^th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Last day of this school year is Thursday June 27th – Regular dismissal at 3:20 p.m.

Parking Lot Safety! Our parking lot is ONLY for staff, approved transportation vehicles and parents contacting the Office for a specific need. PLEASE find drop off and parking areas safely in the community!

Term 2 Report Cards will be sent home Tuesday June 25^th.

SPIRIT Days are:

*May 30^th ‘ER’ Day. Dress up as anything ending in ‘ER’!

*Friday June 7^th Students vs Staff Day.

*Thursday June 27^th Canada Day: wear red and white

Supervision begins at 8:35 p.m. when our Parking Lot Gates close. No Students should be on the school property until 8:35 a.m. when staff supervision begins!

Trips with families are common. Please contact the school Office if the student (s) will be away for any period. Please continue to contact the classroom teacher for absences and copy the office to ensure safety.

Victoria Day is Monday May 20^th – NO SCHOOL
